We began to study why there were not more group focused discussions occurring on the web. We initially created a social network to hold group oriented discussions. However we soon realized the reason there was not more group collaboration occurring on the web was because there was not a discussion model to facilitate this group interaction.

If you look at the current discussion models on the web; email, IM and forums, they have all been around since the web 1.0 days and are formatted in a static and linear manner which is fine for one on one chat, but hinders any sort of group collaboration. This led us to change our focus to build a discussion model that would allow groups to interact and share information with one another at high levels. We built and tested three different proof of concept models to tailor our functionality and features to meet the new web users demands.

We just finished our market ready version and will be launching/integrating in the coming weeks with select partners.
